Since it’s looking like rain, we’ve moved the dance INSIDE to The ARC.
Come on over to The ARC’s Upstairs Balleroom for Salsa In The Street 2026 on Friday, September 18!
Mark your calendars, Winona, because this dance’s going to be HOT. The ARC (251 Main St) will be twisting and vibing to the sounds of LIVE Latin music at the much-anticipated fall dance “Salsa In The Street!”
On Friday, September 18 from 6-11pm, the community is invited to a free dance party thrown by River City Ballroom Dancers/Breitlow Ballroom. April Dahl will teach a beginning Salsa lesson from 6-7pm, Salsa del Soul will provide LIVE Latin music from 7-9 pm. Late-night Latin dancing will continue on from 9-11pm.
Before 6pm, head over to buy some delicious sushi at Miya for dinner then go to Nate & Ally’s for dessert. Plus, at The ARC, there will be drinks by Peter’s Biergarten and goodies from Blooming Grounds / Muddled Thyme.
Salsa del Soul is a Twin Cities-based, nine-piece orchestra that performs various styles of dance music from the Spanish-speaking regions of the Caribbean. They represent some of the finest talents in the Twin Cities Latin music scene with styles including Son, Son Montuno, Plena, Cha-cha-cha, Bachata, Merengue, Timba, and, of course, Salsa!
This incredible event will be at The ARC in their Upstairs Ballroom.

There is ample street parking, including accessible parking spots right up next to the building. Please note that parking spots with a time limit are NOT timed in the evenings and on the weekends. See the map below for the locations of all FREE City of Winona parking lots in the downtown area.
DO NOT park in Wesley United Methodist Church’s private parking lot or in the Post Office’s parking lot.
